A Statewide Program For Homebuyers

 

Kansas Down Payment Assistance Program is a statewide program for homebuyers. Homebuyers can receive up to a 5% down payment assistance grant with their mortgage.

Qualifications

To qualify for the KansasDPA Program you must:

Have qualifying credit - A minimum credit score of 640.

Meet the income and purchase price limit - see below

Purchase one of the following types of homes:

  • Single family detached homes

  • Duplex (provided one unit owner occupied)

  • Condominiums

  • Townhome

  • Manufactured Housing

Benefits

A 30-year fixed rate mortgage loan with up to a 5% grant for cash assistance for down payment or closing costs.

Unlimited funding of 30-year fixed rate mortgage loans with assistance at the following levels:

  • FHA: 2%, 3%, 4% and 5% grant

  • USDA-RD: 2% and 3% grant

  • VA: 2% and 3% grant

  • Conventional: Unassisted (low rate),
    2%, 3%, 4% and 5% grant

(Leavenworth, Wyandotte, Johnson, Linn & Miami)

Lawrence MSA - $132,300
(Douglas)

Ellis County - $121,800

Nemaha County - $122,360

Wallace County - $123,200

All Other Areas - $121,240
